1. The Brothers Lounge would like to maintain its presence as the premier rock
venue in Cleveland, Ohio. These guidelines are meant to preserve that experience &
positively impact your band as it moves throughout the region. Well attended shows lead
to repeat bookings here and elsewhere. Please discuss with our booking director during
the booking process all of the details of your show/event.

2. All submissions should be electronic. In the form of a website, epk, CD's and downloadable MP3's.

3. When you do submit please do so via Email. Do not send a press kit unless we request it, do not call and leave a message. Your e-mail should tell us what genre of music you play, where you have played in town, when your last play was, how many people you drew at your last play, and how
many people you can expect to draw at a show here. It should also have clear links to your music and your website. Promoters and bands are encouraged to approach us with a full bill, as long as it meets our requirements. We answer all emails. If you have not received an immediate response it does not mean that you are not being considered. Please be patient! - Hundreds of bands email us all the time.

4. Nothing makes us happier - both band and venue - than a well promoted, well-attended show. Once you have booked a gig with us we expect it to be thoroughly publicized. We will submit the information of your show to all of our press contacts in the media around town.

FOR THE WINE BAR:

1. The Brothers Lounge Wine Bar side will require the same level of promotion as mentioned above with the difference musically being that of a lighter touch with a smoother feel. The Music Hall will handle the Rock 'N Roll while The Wine Bar side will feature the following styles:

Acoustic Music, Acoustic Singles, Duo's, Trio's & Quartets, Light Jazz, Small Scale Jazz Fusion, Piano Bar, Classical Quartet & Octet, Classical & Flamenco Gypsy King Style Guitar, and an overall softer music with a limited amount of performers on a small intimate stage setting for a perfect mood.

We require that you provide us many copies of a flier for your show at least four weeks prior to your date. We also expect you to list your show on all websites that relate to your music like: your website, myspace page, etc...... For touring bands we will be looking for you to contact the local press and radio stations. For Wine Bar acts please inform your local crowd by word of mouth in advance. Bands that promote well, draw well and that is a fact. This means reaching out beyond your circle of friends and letting the public know who you are. Feel free to ask us for advice.
